Pros: Ventilation,Versatility,View
Cons: [None]
I have been reviewing and researching modular helmets for the past 2 months now, and have come to deciding on the Nolan N104 for a few reasons...1 Its visibility is fantastic, 2 its noise reduction is pretty top notch for a modular, 3 its air flow is great. Lastly having the flip down shades, blue tooth ready, and just being a modular gives you as a rider lots of flexibility. It truly is an all and one helmet. Gone are the days of figuring out which helmet I need depending on the ride.

Pros: Lighter and better vents than earlier models
Cons: Size not the same as earlier models
I have tried a lot of helmets over the last 30 years. I got a Nolan N102 about 3 years ago and loved it so much I bought another one as my spare. Now I wanted a helmet with the interior sun visor instead of the exterior one on the N102. I decided to get the N104 and I am not disappointed, it is quieter, lighter, the vents work better, the sun visor works slick and the helmet looks GREAT The only complaint is I am a big giant head guy and have XXL in the N102s, my N104 is also a XXL but is a bit snug, its been cold a rainy here and havent used it enough to break it in completely. Hopefully it will loosen up a bit more.

It is a great over all helmet.
Weird but cool - CyberSepu FL

Pros: Visibility, ability to clean liners, one button sun-visor retracting
Cons: No anti-fog nose cover, fits slightly different from other helmets
I bought this because my old Nolan-100 was way too old 8yrs old and just falling appart. This one is quite different in a good way. Visibility is incredible the visor is quite wide and runs very low, almost to the mouth. Peripheral is almost 180, and most notably I can see my whole instrument cluster without having to tilt my head down at all. I've never worn a full-face helmet with more visibility than this one. The sun shield is pretty cool in that it completelly retracts at the touch of one button. However the sunshield itselfcould be of a better quality. The liner is fully removable and confortable. It fits is a little weird in the top, feels like an upside-down hammock, but it helps keep your head cooler. The air vents are small but do an ok job too.Road noise is ok for daily use. The helmet comes with indentations close to the ears for comm headphones, which makes their use very comfortable. However even when the instructions say there are indentations in the side of the liners for easy use of glasses, I had a hard time fitting normal size sunglasses, so I have to wear really tight fitting sunglasses. One can argue that the sun visor makes sunglasses innecesary, but the visor sometimes is not enough.Lastly, the helmet has no anti-fog nose cover, which in other helmets is not a big deal but I kinda feel a little naked because the visor runs so low. I just got a bandana to cover my mouth and that's it, nobig deal.I would recommend this product more for sport-touring rides, but it is comfortable enough for every-day use and even sportstreet.

Pros: Great fit, Great construction, Wide field of view
Cons: Chin strap a little uncomfortable
I could tell a soon as I put this helmet on that it was well constructed, a little tight going on but I'm sure after the brake in it should be fine. It's very quiet for a modular helmet and the pinlock shield really does work as far as fogging goes. I might invest in the N-Com system at some point in the future. So far I'm very satisfied with this helmet.
Nice features but noisy - R1200GSA MS
Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Nice features. Wide view
Cons: Noisy, plastic trim, weak shield retentsion
Overall the helmet is worth the money. Fit is kind of tight initially but has broken in nicely. The plastic trim on the lower right pulled out every time the helmet was put on or removed. I was able to adjust the padding which helped with fit and the trim issue. The helmet is noisy but no more so than other Nolans I have owned. Shoei is quieter. Love the ventilation and the pop down sunvisor is awesome. The faceshield retention points are weak, especially full open. Constantly slams shut. Helmet weight feels about average. All the functional bits work seamlessly except for the faceshield glitch. I would buy this helmet again despite the nits.
