Pros: Excellent premium Italian made flip up helmet
Cons: Zero
This is my 4th Nolan over a long line of Nolans I have owned... I picked up this N103 a backup to my other N103 modular... I use one for daily commuting with a clear face shield and the other N103 with a blue metallic shield for touring trips... both have the basic kit2 headset installed and the Ncom Bluetooth 3.0 module... Nolan is the only brand of helmet I'll ever use... their quality and craftsmanship is unsurpassed... and you can always get replacement parts like the lhead liner cheek pads chin skirt visors etc easily from nolan.directly....I highly recommend their products... solid choice... great innovated features... cool colors and styles... comfortable and quiet for the ... the only other helmet I could, recommend is the Schuberth but ur talking about a 1000 helmet by the time you install the com hardware....not worth the expense... pick a nolan you won't be unhappyi

Comfortable, removable interior. Nice on hot days. Everything works well on the helmet. A little loud but I wear earplugs anyway. Well worth the money. No problems. Prefer to do business with compacc.com over others.

I hit a deer at 55 MPH with a Nolan N-102 Helmet on. Fell backwards on the back of my head, then bounced my head on the highway for a long slide, then face planted along the new jersey barrier. The Nolan Helmet saved my life. No Head/face injuries. The Bluetooth Communicator works great even on the highway, You can hear the caller perfect, The caller can hear me clearly. I have it auto answer my phone. I like my MP3 player better for music. I am going to buy another nolan helmet and install the Communicator from the old helmet to the new one.

Pros: neck strap. fit and function
Cons: a little noisy
Nice helmet. maybe needs more ventilation. I open the visor when going slowly. More noisy than the shielded HJC IS-33, but provides better protection.

If you have a Nolan head, this is a great helmet and a great value. Have had an N102 for a few years and love it. Thought I would step up to the N103 concealed visor. Good quality helmet, great fit for me. Slight whistle that I don't get on the N102 and it seems heavier, but that may be my imagination.

I love the Nolan. It fit true to size and has plenty of padding. I bought the JM Elite headset made for the Nolan and it fit perfectly. The built in sun visor is nice but you still need sun glasses. I wish Nolan would keep making the pink helmet as there aren’t enough modular helmets for women.
pretty but unacceptable
While an inexpensive and pretty helmet, the wind noise on the highway and insufficient ventilation made it a neophyte's choice that I found unacceptable after only a few months riding in the tropics.
I changed it first for a Shoei RF1000 and migrated up to a RF1100 that vents tremendously well at low and high speed and was much much quieter. Hoever for stop and go traffic in the tropics I changed that one for a Shoei Multitec and have been very satisfied with that product although not as quiet or as well vented when rolling as the RF1100.
The Schuberth C-3 was uncomfortable after only a few minutes on showroom flow - perhaps just my head shape
Next helmet comparison I'll be looking forward to reading will be the Nolan N104 to the Shoei Neotec.
