Nexx x60 helmet great helmet - Matt
Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Great fit and vrRey light
Cons: Don't really like the strap, a little bulky
This helmet is perfect for in town riding, very light weight and great fit. I like the double visor design clear and shaded both attached simultaneously. The only thing I'm not very fond of is the ratchet buckle, it's just a little bulky but it works fine.overall great helmet.
great quality, good profile, double visor - xmvo MA

Pros: great brand, meets multiple, safety requirements, easy harness, good looks
Cons: pricey, visor gets foggy in cold weather
I narrowed down my search for helmets with criteria being high quality, meeting safety standards of both US and EU, harness that I can clip on and off with gloves on and had a good compromise of safety and good looks. My last two candidates where the Nexx Vintage and this one. Flex is a bit less expensive . Solid construction with the back profile covering a bit more of the base of my skull making me feel a bit more protected than the Vintage dont' know if that matters in crash tests and turns out this also somehow made the helmet look less bulky. Great harness system with soft padding so so far no uncomfortable rubbing on my chin sensitive skin Seems easy to wash padding and can purchase replacement pads I believe. Had the clear visor I needed for night riding and bonus flip down tinted visor so great for when I forget my sunglasses. I've been riding it it cold weather 40's-30's and large visor definitely makes a huge difference. Of course, it does fog up when not in motion, so I tiled the visor a tiny little bit up when I'm at stop lights or breathe out of my mouth-I'm willing to take that compromise for the extra protection. My head measures 55cm and this helmet fits fine with a tiny bit of wiggle which I was willing to live with since I want to fit a thing Smarwool beanie hat in winter. I kept the size S since I also tried the XS and both fit the same in this model for me not sure how. The external dimensions are the same in both, if you're worried about your fashion profile. Padding does pack down a bit after a few wears in all helmets so I would say definitely purchase the XS if your head is 55 or smaller and you have no intention of wearing anything underneath in the cold months. Definitely recommend this product so far. May be able to review more after I wear it in summer.
