I haven't had a chance to test it in the rain, but it seems it will be up to the task. This rain suit has all features I was looking for at a reasonable price - hood, back ventilation, heat resistant panels, being watherproof of course. Note, the pants have suspenders and just an elastic waist, no belt loops and thus have limited waist adjustment. I am about 6' tall. I am in between sizes for pants and wear 32or34 waist and 32or34 length jeans depending on model and brand. I ordered size XL and it was on the spot for wearing over pants and jacket. The suit is pretty heavy and will occupy quite some space in a bag.
