A single full charge of the 2.2 ( smaller stock battery unit ) will last about 10 hours on 25%. ( 7.5 on 50% ) ( about 5 on 75% ) and about 3 hours on 100%. We have tested this in 30-40 degree weather with this and at most have used it a 25-50% most of the time. Keep in mind this is breathable, so if it gets cold put it under another jacket to break the wind. ( the larger options battery will last about 2 times as long as the 2.2 standard battery )

Cons: Wish it heated the pocket areas but not a deal breaker.

I bought this for my wife as a Christmas gift and I don't think I have given her anything she enjoys more than this jacket. She wears it daily and is very happy to have the option to turn the heat on when she is out in the cold. She shows it off often. Was a little pricey but seems to be worth every penny. It heats the back and the chest area very well and the battery life is adequate for 6 hours or so. If you use it as a liner with a heavier coat it will last even longer. Will buy again if it wears out.

I love this jacket. I have used it at my kids sporting game and when riding with my husband. It really puts out some heat the batteries last for ever. Sizing was good for me and the stretch material really helps you move. The liner is not very thick so I was able to use it skiing too..

This is a well made jacket that is taylored for a snug fit. Would be nice if the heating elements extended down the arms and body more, but you can only expect so much from a battery only operated jacket. Will work best on bikes with more wind protection, scooters with windshields, bicycles, moderate temps and hiking. Will also work on bikes with low electrical output where you are already running other electrical gear off the bike and have limited capacity. the standard battery lasts well and the extended one should do even better. We will also buy the extended battery. Wife plans on wearing it on an Alaskan cruise and it should be perfect for that and on her scooter.
