Of course we all would like more heat and longer duration, but all and all it works quite well....those who mentioned the battery access made this concern appear as though it were life threatening...the battery pocket is a bit tight....squeeze your little fingers in there and remove the battery and stop whining

This base layer shirt works well under my non-perforated leather jacket and its liner. I do wear a t-shirt underneath the Longmen and the setup keeps me pretty cozy. The heating pads are only on the chest and upper back so my arms and lower back get a little chilled in the cold. Otherwise at 75 power I feel a nice warmth around my upper body. I am 6' tall and 210ish pounds, typically wear XL shirts and the Longmen in XL fits great. The battery doubles as the controller and sits in a little pocket on the left of the shirt. The cord isn't long enough to place the battery anywhere else so it's pretty much impossible to access the controller while riding. Even when you are stopped it still takes a bit to get to the controller if you want to adjust the power level. Best to set and forget.I'd say this shirt works great for the occasional cold weather rider-commuter, but not for the distance rider who rides in the cold. Plug-in heated gear would probably work better for him. I typically ride less than 2 hours in the winter and prefer to get off my bike and not have to worry about cords. Being able to wear the shirt while working in the garage in the cold or while doing outside activities is a nice bonus too
