Heats well. Remember this is not a heated motorcycle jacket powered by a vehicle battery, nor does it have heating elements throughout and down the sleeves. Does it's job though. Nice not to have to plug it in to bike. Good for use on a small bike which doesn't have much capacity for accessaries. You could get extra batteries for prolonged use off-road, away from 120V recharge overnight.

I've had this jacket for a year now, and use it on the bike and off. It's warm, windproof, very stylish and easy to operate. I LOVE being able to adjust the heat level with just a little click in my left pocket. The battery pack is very small and light and unobtrusive. I had a problem with the heating element and called the company - they immediately sent a replacement and an extra rechargeable battery to me for my trouble. I haven't had a problem with it since then.I use this as a winter layer under my 3 season jackets, and turn on the heat in the early hours and as the sun goes down. With my winter jacket, I take out the liner and use this one. It's thin and windproof, giving me less bulk. The neck is tall with a nice zipper garage that doesn't pinch or interfere with my outer jackets.Notes if you find it riding up when you're in riding position, the bottom of the zipper opens up, much like the side zipper adjustment on some jackets. I always unzip it a few inches before I get on my bike, and it makes the heating elements cling to my body better.This jacket does not have CE armor in it, so I only use it as an under layer.The fit is close to your body need to be for the heat to transfer, and has stretchy side panels that have adjusted quite well to ladies I've let borrow it.Overall I'm very happy with it and would purchase it again.
