These are heavy, rugged boots. I have big feet and had trouble getting these on due to the external strapping being just a little tight. I spent some time stretching the strapping out so I can get into these. Once in them however they are very comfortable, even for a wide thick foot like mine. As they say: no break-in required.

The weak spot is the light delrin zipper running up the back of the boot. If I just pulled off the boot without unzipping it first, the zipper would split. I eventually broke the zipper on one of them completely. I dropped my boots off at a repair shop yesterday to have a heavy metal zipper installed on both boots.

Don't get me wrong; I'd buy these again. Just be prepared to replace the zipper.
