These tires BEG you to corner harder - xpertsnowcarer

Pros: Dual compound, fast warm up time, impressive in the water
Cons: None yet
Those of you, like myself, that had and loved the Pilot Power 2CT tires and travel any faster than 75MPH on the highway, know the center of the tire wore pretty fast. You could even see small pieces of tire balling up along the center after a simple cruise. With the Pilot Power 3, that is no longer the case. The center isn't wearing out as fast as the 2CT. The tread pattern is better, leaving the corners of the tire looking like a slick tire. Let's face it, no one leans that far over in the wet, especially on the street with paint everywhere. I started off with the tires a little too inflated 38psi both, but the handling was superb and great for highway cruising. The tires are very responsive to emergency maneuvers.. But, that Psi would be a bit too stiff for canyon lovers like myself. I keep them at 32F, 33R psi for the canyons. I have yet to go to the track, but Id probably have the tires closer to 30F, 32F psi. All depends on how hot the track is though. Ive used these tires for 3000 miles already on a 2004 Honda 919. I have peg risers, so I've reached the entire lean range. They are very confidence inspiring to the experienced rider, so I definitely recommend them for the weekend warrior.

Pros: Excellent grip, long life, dual compound, larger area of soft rubber on edges
Cons: They are not as light as the old Michelin Pure tire
These tires work great on my CBR954rr. My old Pilot power tires would slip and spin under hard 1st gear acceleration, these new Pilot Power 3's don't slip around at all. The also look cool and last longer, what more could you ask for

Pros: New tread, great in corners
Cons: Longevity, compound integrity
Tires haven't lasted nearly as long as my old 2ct I will buy one more rear to stay with the same tire but as soon as my front is done I'm going BACK to the 2ct tires.
