I bought a set of the Michelin commander 2 tires to put on my Harley Davidson Fat Bob Screaming Eagle stage 4. I immediately noticed the difference in the handling and feel of these tires over the Dunlop originals. Traction handling and braking were very noticeably improved. My first refueling I noticed a difference in the gas mileage. I checked it again 2 additional times and confirmed my gas mileage had increased 2 miles per gallon. I am very pleased with the Michelin commander 2 tires. There is no doubt in my mind that I will buy the commander 2 tires again and I will recommend to everyone that is looking for an improvement in tire performance and longevity.

Just ordered my second set of Michelin Commander II's. Have tried several brands of tires over the years and average 5000 - 8000 miles on a rear tire. Currently have 18000 miles on Commander II rear tire. Estimate in 4000 miles I will still have 14 of original tread left. Pretty awesome Not even close on the front tire yet. Estimating I will get close to 40000 miles on it. Have driven cross country on interstate and locally on chip and seal, asphalt, concrete, gravel and dirt in all kinds of weather. Tires handle well and shed water very well. Only caveat has been on grooved pavement but I still haven't found a tire that handles that well.

I really like how this tire looks and rides on my Triumph Rocket III Classic. I don't have many miles on it yet but the only issue I have is that I had to go with a lower profile than I needed and it lowered the front of my bike 1 which is quite a lot. Handling didn't suffer - if anything, it should have tightened it up a little. But I lost ground clearance that was already at a premium to begin with. I wish Michelin would make the size I really need, not to mention one for the back as well. I like the stock Metzlers but they wear too quick and are very pricey. The only other option is a set of Avons and they are worthless - I test rode them once in variable drydamp conditions and they were extremely slick and gave poor feedback. I will need a little time on this one to see how the milage and grip hold up. For now it's just as good as the Metzler.

Put these tires on a Harley Wide Glide in April. Was incredibly impressed with the grip absolutely no fear of leaning into turns as far as I can without scraping pipes or pegs. Wet traction is also great. If there's a better tire for a V Twin out there, I haven't seen heard about it. That said, I am buying another front tire today. 8,500 miles and it's at the treadwear indicator. Make no mistake - 8,500 miles on a front tire is great for me Dunlops would give me maybe 3,000.The rear is still at about 85 no doubt I'll get 20,000 miles out of it.

I am a daily rider. With over 75,000 miles on my 2005 Harley Ultra Classic.Install the new tires and found an immediate riding improvement. Even in wet. Conditions the. Tire grip super well. Usely the first 100 miles a tire is slick like oil but this tire just gets Better and better. I ONLY HAVE 500 MILES ON THE TIRES BUT I AM VERY HAPPY. Now if they last 14,000 to 20000 miles I will never buy another brand of tire.Ride safe

5 star right now just for the great shipping,excellent customer service and awesome price..These tires have great tread depth,and a really nice looking roll in ,very aggressive tread. I will be revisiting this review when the tires are mounted and get some mileage on them..Looking forward to testing the claim of 25 plus thousand from a front tire.. AW1
