i can vouch for their protection too. lowsided at about 40mph. they are scuffed, but still usable! incredible value!

Great boots, I got these because my legs are short and the pedals left welts on my shins every time I stopped. Very pleasantly surprised and pleased after near six months of use and walking through several small towns. Im a 7.5 shoe and they only come in even sizes so had to get 8. Little big for me when walking but great for riding and slipping on and off. wish they come in different colors but black goes with everything.

The Vega leather sport boots are really a great value for the price.
- Great fit & very comfortable- true to size.
- Great protection for the heel, toe, ankle, and shins. No need for shin guards.
- Look great & sporty- either under tucked beneath riding jeans and/ or worn on the outside with leather riding suit.
- Replaceable toe & heel armor.
If you've never worn a sport riding boot before, then they do take a little getting used to. But, once broken in, they really make your feet, ankle, and shins feel well-protected.

For the money an incredible boot. Been through a few track days and work well, very comfortable, and durable.

Excellent entry level shoes. I wear a size 13 in shoes and so I ordered the 13's and like other's have said, the size is dead on. They are comfortable, didn't really feel a need to break them in, and they go on easily. They also will fit over the shin armor that's in the racing pants. I wore them at a track day this past weekend and several people commented on them and mentioned how they will get a pair because of having problems with their own boots. It was also 36degrees out during an hour ride to the track, and at the track and back home it was in the 40's, but my feet never got cold either! If you're looking for a good boot and don't want to pay higher prices, do yourself a favor and pick up a pair!

This is my first pair of boots. Yes it does take a couple of days of riding to get use to them. The price is awesome. The fit is perfect. Great for daily riding and canyons. I have riding shoes but with these pair of boots, I feel like I have more protection. I have only got them for a couple of weeks so don't know how long they will last but for 85 bucks, what a deal.

Nice boots for the money. They fit well but are alittle hot to wear in this summer time heat. They provide a better feel for the brake and shifter than sneakers do. I would recommend them to the street rider who wants decent protection with out spending alot of money.

Excellent product for the price. I wear a size 13 with a narrow foot, they fit great and have ample adjustment around the calf with the ankle zipper and the velcro. My one complaint is that the toe slider came loose on my first ride. It wasn't the screws that came loose, but the metal threaded tab under a thin piece of fragile rubber sewn on the exterior of the boot. The fix was to drill small holes in the boot and put the tab inside the boot, had to buy longer screws from lowes. The boots are made from excellent material and block wind very well and give great protection. I was concerned about the stiffness over my normal nike's, but was surprised at how naturally i could use the brake and shifter. Recommended if money in on the mind.

Cons: Poor Quality
I purchased these boots awhile back I was low on cash, in a bind, and needed them fast. Within a week or so the boots started falling apart cosmetically. Parts of the sole came loose and emblems started peeling. The top portion of the boots would not fit on the outside of my leathers I had to wear them underneath. However I sustained two low side crashes low speed at the track while wearing these boots and I did not receive any injures. In conclusion these boots are a bargain and will offer decent protection. Just don't expect them to last very long. You get what you pay for in most cases and this is no exception. If you are purchasing for occasional street use you will be fine. If you plan on using them daily or going to the track spend a little more money and get something with better quality.

Well, they are NICE LOOKING boots for the money. I am US10.5 running shoes and these are 11.0 fit well. However my calf muscles are suffering in a boot. Barely can close a zipper and hoop won't close in full... I am very unhappy. Paid UPS delivery...
