I was very pleased with this gauge. It was easy to install and looks great, especially at night. Yes, the LED'S are rather bright, but not so much as to be disturbing. The wire leads weren't long enough for my attachment point, so I added some more bell wire...easy enough to do. I attached the positive lead to the horn fuse on my Kawasaki ZX-10 and the negative lead to the ground terminal on my bike's battery. This is my second purchase of a Kuryakyn product and their quality is top notch

I have had this for about 6 months on my Goldwing 1500/6. I suspected that my charging system wasn't working properly. I installed the indicator and after 3 or 4 trips I discovered that my Alt. was not putting out 12.3Volts. It is simple but tells you alot about your charging system while driving. Good device. Looks good to. Got the chrome one.
