Overall happy with the product, the original shield would pop open a little when I checked my blind spot, this one stays put, thanks to the improved mounting hardware that was included. The new design mount also holds the shield in better than the original, which would allow the shield to be pulled away from the mount pretty easily no matter how much I pushed it into the mount while pulling the release. If I could ask for anything it would be a plastic formula that was more optically clear and unaffected by polarized sunglasses, as I get dark bands of distortion while wearing mine, and a smoother functioning release mechanism with a larger pull surface. I will order another one with tint that should solve the sunglass problem, but wish I didn't need to so I wont get stuck with a dark shade on those post sundown rides home...
