The Joe Rocket Reactor Jacket combines the ventilation of mesh with the protection of leather to form a sleek sport styled jacket that is comfortable and ready to hit the streets in any weather. Leather panels cover the impact areas at the shoulders and elbows for excellent abrasion resistance. A removable waterproof liner is included with the Joe Rocket Leather as well, which will keep you dry and also helps keep the wind at bay if your rides take you into cooler weather. The Reactor Jacket has reflective material to provide night-time visibility and CE approved armor & a spine pad for impact protection, all for added safety.

Joe Rocket makes a great jacket in this model and compacc.com delivers at a great price and has earned my loyalty. By the way, I am the type who spends endless hours searching for the best quality and the best price. I hope this helps. Keep the rubber side downThe jacket is great. It does not ride high in the torso which for tall folks is a concern. The arms are little snug but it is a warm weather jacket. The arm adjusters keep the elbow armor in place regardless of what you are doing or fast you are doing it. The jacket is well-made and will afford the wearer protection from a spill. The armor in the elbows and shoulders are good. The back protector is not solid as a CE item and it isn't marketed as such but it isn't flimsy either. Because it is not a CE back pad, I upgraded to the CE one offered by compacc. The rain liner is good but I will do not use it since it turns the jacket into a sauna. The jacket is great for hot days I have used it in 110 degree days and was not more uncomfortable than wearing a long sleeve shirt. You are going to sweat so might as well be that much more safe.
