Good ventilation for summer time riding with just enough protection. Newer hi-tech materials look to be durable and should last a good while. Joe rocket has it's eye o the street rider and these gloves fit the bill. Good bang for buck.

I was so please wmyself for purchasing these gloves to go along wmy Joe Rocket Phoenix 5.0 jacket. However, the love affair was short-lived as the fingers wore through the material after less than 2 summer seasons of weekend warrior type use. Is this the price paid for them being so comfortable wout much break-in, I wonder Anyway, knowing the value of a good fit, I went ahead and ordered a second pair to replace the worn ones but this time, despite being the exact same size on the label, they were too small. Yes, they are both men's size in case you're wondering. I've been hoping that with more and more break-in, they'll become more comfortable with time but they continue to take away from the riding experience now due to discomfort both getting them on and off as well as fatiguing my hands early during riding and I've used them for part of last summer and all spring this year. Disappointing. I wish that my first pair didn't wear out so fast. I'm debating buying a different pair now even though the new ones are virtually mint.I'm still a fan of Joe Rocket gear but I find the apparent inconsistency in sizing a little disconcerting moving forward so I'd be guarded in terms of offering a recommendation to buy.
