Got this as a closeout deal. Upon receiving, one of the cuff hold-down velcro pieces was missing some stitches - it looked like I got a jacket that had been returned, so can't blame the original workmanship. Comp Accessories told me that I got the last one in my size, so rather than returning it to Joe Rocket for warranty work, two bucks at my local tailor, and it's fixed. The hemp material is like a Cordura-style textile, but much softer and more compliant. I own a few other Joe Rocket jackets, and the usually prominent Joe Rocket logos are much more subdued on this jacket, which I like. I got the olive and beige color, and the color shown on websites isn't quite accurate. The olive color is more green than the pictures show, but is very good looking. The fit is about the same as other Joe Rocket textile jackets. The subdued style makes this a great jacket for wearing off the bike, such as riding to meet someone in a social, "non biker" situation like a restaurant.

I would recommend this jacket. Better at reasonable temperatures to cool temps. The liner is adequate. Behind the main zipper lies a mesh section so it breathes pretty well when its warm, though I'd recommend a mesh jacket for higher temperatures that comes with summer riding.
