I've owned quite a few ridingtouring pants including mesh, textile, and leather. The Rocket Alter Ego 2.0 pants have quickly become my all around favorite - especially on days when the temperature have a wide swing - during a cool morning they work great as an over-pant and offer plenty of warmth with the removable liner installed. When temperatures heat up the liner is easily removed and the solid exterior panel zips off to make use of the ventilating mesh panel. The 2 front pockets are adequate but the pants really could use either larger pockets or additional pockets - but not really a big deal. Armor is decent and the stretch panels in the knees are perfect. Fabric is very substantial and well finished. I'm extremely pleased and highly recommend them.
