Birthed in the rain soaked laboratories of Portland, Oregon the PDX is Icons answer to Mother Natures fury. The pattern of the rip-stop waterproof shell is cut full to fit over your normal riding gear. The unique roll-up hood seals against the neck during your ride, then unfurls to cover your helmet hair when you arrive at your destination. A couple of well placed pockets, complete seam sealing, reflective graphics and wind flap elimination straps complete the program. The PDX, keeps you dry while keeping you "fresh".

I bought the Hi-VIz yellow, and BOY does it draw drivers attention, WOO HOO On the other hand, it will look like you rolled in road grime after about 1500 miles with traffic, and cleaning it is a BEAR. Still, worth the trade off for me..Loud gear saves livesI have been thru several other suits, some cheaper, and one about the same price but the HD logo prob did THAT to me, this one is the best by far. Sizing seems to be a bit large which is perfect since I want to be able to put it on over my textile jacket, because there is no protection in the PDX rain jacket. I do like the liner as it does a great job keeping the shell off your body if you just go with a shirt underneath and it wicks some of the body moisture.Also, the PDX raingear is not small, so it isn't a emergency style that fits jacketpants and all in it's own hood, but then, it doesn't flap like a plastic sack at speed.Keeping it from an excellent rating is the hood, which I would replace with a nice sealing collar, as the roll-up method for the hood is just ok and it can collect water, and although the cuffs adjustments work well, they don't seal so you need a gauntlet glove. Even with those two issues I think it gets 4.5-stars.

Got the yellow. It's a great jacket, sized to fit over the jacket size you order. I wear a Medium jacket and ordered a Medium and it fit over it perfectly. The lettering is reflective.
