Icon has been a brand focused on the urban street scene for a long time. Their graphic styles & designs cater to the crowd that is living life on the edge and isn't afraid to stand out. The Icon Overlord Prime Hero takes that edgy style and packages it in a jacket that looks like it has its roots in the track. The Overlord Prime Hero jacket is constructed from 1.2-1.4 mm premium leather, which is nice and thick, but high quality so break in time should be minimal. Icon calls the fit of this jacket their Attack Fit, in other words, it is made for the tucked riding position, with the arms rotated forward and a torso that tapers down towards the waist. So, if you have a bit of a belly, this jacket may be a little snug for you, but I will say that the sizing is still a bit more generous than some of the other European brands. Accordion style stretch panels behind the elbows and shoulders help keep you mobile, as well as stretch material down the inner arms. Probably one of the most obvious features of the Overlord Prime Hero is the external armor on the shoulders, elbows, and back. Molded sliders are built into the shell and give the jacket a really tough look. Speaking of looks, there are sublimated skull graphics on the front of the torso along with the Icon logo and some industry patches. Additional Icon logos are also found on the sides of the shoulders & torso, and an Icon logo runs down the left sleeve as well. CE approved armor included for protection is located in the shoulders & elbows as well as a dual density foam back pad.
