Icon Airframe Construct Manic Helmets are not the colorful Manic helmets of the past. Gone are the bright hues, replaced by the stark black and white depiction of gnarling teeth and gleaming bone on the Icon Airframe Construct Manic Helmets. Dark and foreboding loom all around the Icon Airframe Construct Manic Helmet, with its frantic beast that is scratching to be free.
Those of a certain age may recognize the snarling chin bar grin from the ICON archives. Gone are the fiesta of colors, the greens and reds and yellows that made the Manic such a hit with the K-5 crowd. What is left is a pure skeletal form that reveals the Manic’s true colors. A glossy bone matrix overlaid in black lines of nightmarish demarcation. Frantic scratching of one possible future. The Construct Manic: An Icon interpretation of beast mode.

Superb Helmet - A.Nguyen IL
Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Comfortable, Two shields, Amazing ventilation, Awesome styling
Cons: Shield lock
This helmet was on the expensive side, but personally I think it was well worth it. It fits very well and keeps me warmcool depending on the weather. It also comes with a clear and tinted visor. The graphic is really nice, if you can't see it from the pictures, the white part is actually a texture with the black paint on a glazed surface. My only issue with this helmet is that it has a metal shield-lock to keep the lid down, but it's really unnecessary and it's pretty much impossible to get your lid up after putting it down without hurting your fingers or putting your head in an awkward position. I just keep the shield 1-tick before the lock so I don't have to mess with it.
