I normally wear a half-helmet on my 2008 Nomad but wanted a full helmet with opened face for colder weather. I also own a Nolan Modular full face, but like this helmet better. I know there is not the chin protection of the full face, but it is Snell rated and I dare you to find another new Snell rated helmet at this price. It is great that the same helmet can have a face shield or it can be removed and a visor installed that comes with the helmet.

I liked this helmet so much i ordered another one. The way the helmet is designed I have really good side vision. The weight of the helmet is great and has good balance in the wind.

Just got my helmet... spent a lot of time trying on various helmets at the cycle shop and this one is PERFECT, feels as good as the ones I could have spent triple the money on. I can't wait to wear it with my scooter! Bought the silver and it looks great!

Excellent quality helmet and light weight, plus it is SNELL approved as well.
The down side: Be careful as these run a full size small! I always have worn X-Large in all helmets. I could not even get one of these on my head! XXL fits but is snug.... I have a CL33 XL that fits perfectly as well as an older Sy-Max XL with a perfect fit. Not sure if this is representative of all HJC helmets now or just this model.

Great helmets. I love the fact I can use either a shield or a visor. The shield is excellent for when I remove the windshield. It was noisy at 1st, but once I adjusted my windshield so the wind was not buffeting around the top of the helmet it made all the difference. Great buy for the money.

seems a little heavy out of the box for a composite, but I adjusted quickly. The visor rattles a little even behind the roadking windshield, ventilation seems to make a little difference, but not much helps the gulf coast humidity. the fit and finish is more than what you pay for, and the XL is the same size as my other XL helmets, but seems tight out of the box. Loosens up quickly, no problems 2 hrs at a time. shield is difficult to remove the first time, visor installs easily. very satisfied with helmet for the price, and compacc service is very good. only helmet i ever had that gets a compliment now and then at the gas pumps from cagers.

this is my first 34 helmet in over 20 yrs, I have been using halfy helmets this helmet does a great job at buffeting the wind out of your ears and keeping the sun out of your eyes the glossy black paint is a little fragile, I guess you just shouldn't drop it all in all a GREAT helmet at a GREAT price

Great helmet for the price - easy removable shield and easy install on visor - Be advised that it runs very small. I normally wear a Large and ordered as so. When I got it, it was so small I could not get it on my head. I ordered a XXL and it fit just fine.

Good value for helmet, visor and shield. Fits well but maybe a bit on small side. Seems too mold to your head as you wear it though. Pretty loud helmet. No wind noise but all else is pretty loud. Overall good helmet.

Very nice helmet!i bought the wineberry and it matches my bike even though my bike color is "candy red". These helmet suits my interstate rides with no problems, the only issue i have with this helmet is that i still can't remove the faceshield to try the visor on it! i feel like i'm going to break it...anyway i've given up trying to remove it since i have another helmet for my street cruising...otherwise everything else is perfect! Great buy!

I love this helmet and it became my go-to for every ride except when it's really cold. In the cooler temps or really long rides I use the front shield but for day trips and around town riding the visor is awesome. Depending on your bike you may get some buffeting at highway speeds or if its really windy that day with the visor, so I'll either use a shield or just remove the visor and go open face. I took this on a 2000 mile ride last summer and it was perfect.

I purchased a Bell Shorty when I got my bike; but never felt comfortable in it...when I found this helmet I fell in love! It fits like it was made for me without being constrictive or too tight, even after an hour or more on the bike. Strap feels more secure and much more comfortable, padding is excellent, and again, fit is perfect for me.
Then ONLY fault I have found so far is a personal style issue. I really like a face shield, but think the visor is snappy looking. Wish I could somehow have both at once - have even considered gluing the visor directly to the shield - LOL

beautiful looking helmet with visor mounted. great on secondary roads but a total POS when you get on the highway. The visor starts vibrating at approx 65 mph and gets worse the faster you go. I bought the helmet based on the looks of it with the visor installed
