I have a big head and tried many helmets never getting a good fit untill this CL-Max 2. I never felt claustrophopic with the easy opening flip up face shield. The price is a bargain at 140 and customer service of Competition Accessories was excellent. Highly recommented.

Rider review - HJC CL MAX jwimberley FL
After installing speakers and microphone in my helmet I took a ride for about 120 miles to see if my new helmet was any more comfortable than previous helmets. After one adjustment of the right side speaker I was pleased to note no hot spot on my forehead or pain in my ear. My helmet is a 5xl and it feels snug, not loose. I wear a 734 hat but have tried numerous Shoei and HJC helmets without a long term comfortable fit. I would have to say that this helmet is a little bit noiser than the full face HJC it replaced but I think the comfort factor is much more important and I am thinking of taking a longer bike trip now.

Ok helmet for short rides. Seems solid enough with ok quality. A little noisy just like other modulars. only real con is the red trim on the inside liner will cause discomfort in the forehead after riding for about an hour.
