Really glad I bought these tires, I got 9000 miles out of the factory tires and I'm sure they were bias plys. The E3's are radials and are a little creepy at first, but so far, they actually outperform the factory tires by a longshot. The price was about 30 or 40 bucks more expensive than welfare brands. I put over 300 miles on them today mostly on WV backroads.

I recently Purchased a set of the Dunlop Elite 3s Front&Rear for my 2009 Goldwing after the D250s that came with the Bike wore out at 7000 Miles. I purchase these tires because I was going on a long trip and did not want to
encounter any tire problems with the D250s. They Performed as expected until the Rear Tire Blewout going down the Thruway at 70 MPH we were lucky the tire stayed in one piece until we were able to stop safely. I Replaced that
tire with another Elite 3. We did however notice that the elites
run alot hotter than the OEM tires ever did we will never know if that had anything to do with the blow out

While I really like the way these tires held the road there were problems! At certain lower speeds the front end has a wobble. I have a 2005 GL1800 and I hear that this is common on many Gl1800s. I have just changed over to the Bridgestones and will see if they work better.
