Pros: Nice looking, comfortable,shields very easy to removereinstall, Very easy to remove the liner for washing.
Cons: Shield does'nt seal properly on top, letting theair watersnow go in. Not for winter application.
I own my GM54s for over 3 years now. I originally bought it for snowmobile use but I use it more for motorcycle riding. Very nice looking helmet, very comfortable. I never had a helmet on witch shield removal and installation is so easy, both main shield and sun shield. But the seal on top of the main shield is not doing his job, even after installing the field repair kit supplied by the manufacturer. So air, water or snow is entering trough there. I finally fixed it with and additional seal I made with electrical tape stuck along the upper edge of the shield. Also, for snowmobile application, the top heating element of the electrical shield goes down too low when in fully closed position, thus interfering with field of vision. Also the chin bar tends to freeze in the close position when riding with everything closed in cold weather. I still rated it four star for motorcycle application but would not recommend for winter use.
