i love hd lenses. they play with alter contrast giving your vision more depth allowing you to react faster. it also makes those annoying bright bluishwhite headlights a mottled yellow

I'm not really sure what the point of this shield is other than you could possibly do without sunglasses when the sun is above or behind you. Other than that, I could not find that it decreased glare at all, in day or night. Maybe it's just me, but I don't see much use for this shield and probably won't ever use it unless my clear one scratches badly or breaks.
