I own a set of givi bags that I bought about ten years ago when I was going on week long rides to other states. They are bulky but hold alot of gear. My riding is now basically a few hours on the weekends and commuting to work. The e21 is perfect for this type of riding. I can carry a small tool kit, thermos,etc. I love the slim design and the fact that they open from the top. The price is great for my budget and riding needs.

Cons: had no reflectors - but easily installed some 2 DOT reflectors
took a few weeks to arrive but worth the wait. Side cases look surprisingly cool on my sport bike, and seems to be good build quality so far after a couple months daily use. Top opening lid overlaps the opening so rain stays out. Perfect size for commuting and parking in tight spots. Not enough capacity weight or volume for heavy cross country loads. Fits laptop briefcase in one, extra gear, shoe-bag and lunch sack etc. with room to spare in the other. Both panniers mounted are a couple inches narrower overall than the mirrors - good for worry free maneuverability. Bike specific quick release rack is cleverly engineered but could be made of lighter weight tubing like aluminum, which of course would cost more so I'm happy with this.

I AM NOT REALLY GREAT WITH A WRENCH BUT HAD NO TROUBLE FIGURING OUT THE INSTALL FOR THE FITMENT AND THE CASES SNAPPED ON REAL NICE. MAINLY USE THEM FOR BACK AND FORTH TO WORK BUT CAN EASILY TAKE A TRIP WITH THEM. I HAVE THEM MOUNTED ON A G650GS AND THE NARROW PROFILE IS SOMETHING I LOVE.YOU COULD PROBABLY SPEND A LOT MORE MONEY ON METAL CASES ETC. BUT THIS FITS MY NEEDS JUST GREAT.GGPARKER, CO
