Ladies.. The all new Gaerne Black Rose is the first "ladies only" boot with a fashion look designed just for you! They started with new patterns made just for women and added their PRO-TECH ankle shield system as well as their side closures for easy on/off. The Black Rose is produced with full grain leather. Inside, Gaerne used their DRYTECH membrane to keep your feet completely dry on those wet rides. I was really concerned that these wouldn't fit right. I have very narrow heels, super high arches and a wide forefoot.I upsize a whole size and a half to size 9 in a street shoe to accomodate for the width of my forefoottoes.Foot measures 7 12 for length, got these in a size 8,and they are wonderful Don't know about the water proofness yet, havent used in the rain.

The Black Rose is an excellent riding boot, especially for someone with a narrow heel and high arch. It fits perfectly around the heel and arch, and the toe box is snug without being confining. It took almost no time to break them in, and after wearing them all over campus, they were quite flexible and did not give me blisters.
Ideal for wearing and riding, the boot is flexible enough to fit comfortably under the gear shift and gives a nice, firm footing.
I wear anywhere from a size 6.5 to a 7.5, but the 7s fit perfectly. The only thing I could ask is that it had a velcro flap over the zipper - otherwise, they are perfect. Strongly recommended.

Awesome boots. Fit great. Usually wear a 7.5 but got an 8 and they're perfect. Boot flexes enough to allow toe under gear shifter. Great Quality. Highly recommend this boot.
