I installed the Forcefield SuperLite Back Insert, model 003 in my Alpinestars T-Breeze mesh jacket in size XL. I am very pleased with the back protector and it looks like it will do well in a crash. The stock foam pad that comes in the jacket is pretty useless and the recommended upgrade from the manufacturer is absolutely terrible. The Forefield, however, is great. It is thin, flexible, lightweight, breathes easily and fits okay. I say okay because it is not made specifically for my jacket and therefore isn't perfect, but it stays in place and should work in a crash. I consider this type of armor upgrade insurance, and I'm willing to fork over a few bucks just in case. ForceField knows motorcycle armor and I trust their testing and advertised safety.
