Pros: Fit and workmanship

These are the best leather gloves I have ever had. One thing that most leather gloves have a problem with is that the thumb is not long enough which causes my thumb to but against the end. It seems that this is caused by the web not being cut low enough on the glove so when the throttle is gripped there is still space between the web on my hand and the web of the glove, these gloves don't have that problem. The fitsize is accurate, at least for me, and I'm just sorry I didn't get several pairs instead of just one. By all means get some of them, and at the price I paid I don't think you'll ever find a better product.

Just 1 hint order 1 size bigger I wear aX L and I ordered 2XL and youve got it made. THANK YOU Comp acc . PS the gloves are great in wet weather too. That's why from now on I will shop with Comp acc.

Very comfortable, good sizing fit, I'm not as tough as the other girls that thought their hands were warm in the winter, at 35 degrees and heated grips I switched to the Sliders. A great deal I bought two pr., great for spring and fall riding! Thanks for the deals compacc.

Great gloves, well made, definitely worth the price. Moderate insulation, good pairing with heated grips. I'm considering a second pair as well...

Overall, I would recommend them and I would say these are good gloves. I personally will be using them daily during the cooler spring, autumn and winter months.
I have been looking for a glove like this for some time, but always has too much insulation. These Gloves are not great for real cold weather. More like cool weather. This is because they have insulation on the back side only. I guess on a bike with a fairing that covers the hand you could use in a lot colder weather. The palm side does not have insulation, which is a bonus, because you get better grip with improved dexterity. It was a little tight getting past the wrist but once inside they fit good. The wrist and gauntlet have adjusters for size. They are well made with extra leather on thumb for wiping and a small patch of still armor on the lower palm for emergency use.

Pros: Well built, spring and fall gloves.
Cons: A bit long fingered, stiff, and not waterproof.
Was shopping to replace my cheap made-in-China 10 yr old rock-solid-waterproof until last year gloves. The CompAcc sales magazine advertised these Firstgear TPG Odyssey Leather Gloves as waterproof and because they were on sale, I got 2 pair. They're well made, as you can expect from Firstgear. Leather with a lightthin perforated liner. My hands are 9.5 as measured for gloves and my right middle finger is 3.25 inch base to tip. The XL are a really nice fit with the fingers running just a little long for me. They are a bit stiff out of the package well packaged in a heavy plastic bag with a nice, heavy plastic clipclamp and I suspect will loosen up as they wear in. I reviewed the attached literature which made no mention of being waterproof notr is it mentioned on the website. I called CompAcc and spoke with a customer service rep who assured me Firstgear TPG gloves are waterproof. If a driving rain keeps you off the bike, these gloves should work for you. They appear to be able to manage a short spring shower, maybe an on again-off again misting rainy day. If you look forward to riding in an all day frog-choker, these won't do it. My commute is 17 miles20 min. This morning was a driving thunderstorm, my kind of weather. About halfway into it, I could feel water at the left fingertips. Not puddling, but wet just the same. Not running down from the cuff, but coming through what I suspect are the finger seams. Shortly after, I could feel my right fingers getting wet as well. After arriving at work it was clear fingers were wet. I think the sales magazine was a misprint because I can find no mention of waterproof anywhere else. Good gloves, but not for what I got them for.

Gloves are a good fit. Wish I got them on sale. Good buy for retail, but great buy at closeout price. Just ordered 2nd set of XL today. Thanks CA
