Not recommended to be worn over Firstgear Textile Jackets and overpants, because those products have a waterproof/breathable exterior. Use over Mesh or any other Non-Waterproof Product.

Pros: Breathable, visible, waterproof
Cons: Awkward snaps, sleeve adjusters useless
This by far the best rain jacket I've ever owned. It's lightweight, breathable, actually rainproof, and far less expensive than gore-tex competitors. Biggest complaint is the snaps that Firstgear seems to love to use where others would use Velcro, and vice-versa. The overlap and neck closures would be much more user-friendly, if they were Velcro. At least they got the sleeve closures right Velcro. The sleeve take-up straps on my example have no useful adjustment range and are pretty much worthless, and there is insufficient adjustment at the neck to prevent slight leakage there, especially without the hood deployed. The sizing is loose to fit easily over other gear, so order to size.
