I bought these pants for the protection and the ability to wear normal street clothes underneath, The sizes seem pretty accurate. I got my regular pant size and they went over jeans easily with no tightness or binding when riding. They aren't too baggy either. The knee protectors stay in the correct location. I haven't used them in the rain so no comment on the waterproof claims. Due to the cool spring in the south, I don't know how they will handle hot weather but with the large thigh vents and wearing shorts underneath, I believe they will be okay. The zippers and velcro work well and appear to be good quality. All stitching is durable and well done. A good Firstgear product.
