I really wanted a GPS compatible tank bag to limit the number of places I was mounting and stashing electronics on my bikes. I have more than one bike that I tour with and needed something that was flexible enough to move between the two. I've always loved my FirstGear jackets, and pants, and their reputation for quality. I bought the larger sized FirstGear Laguna GPS Tank Bag. The pockets and wiring access are well thought & laid out. The bag is big, but not bulky. The ability to zip it off the bike and carry it with all your electronics inside as a back pack is invaluable.Two downfalls are that the GPS pocket has a very limited range of adjustability for viewing and the glare off the clear vinyl cover make it impossible to see at times - not a huge deal as I rely more heavily on the audio directions. this last week I was caught in 3 days of rain . . . the built in rain cover is a great idea . . . and would be better if the cover were about 3 sizes bigger than it need to be . . . it is so big that no matter how tight you cinch it down air still gets in under it and blows it up like a balloon . . so much so I had a hard time seeing all my dash gauges . . . it's ridiculous and renders the whole GPS idea almost useless even thought the rain cover has a clear to for visibility.I now wish I had gone with Cortech's Dryver Tank Bag System . . . . the FirstGear Laguna is good but could be great with a few manufacturing.design adjustments - make the gps holder more adjustable for viewing and properly size the rain cover.
