I like this jacket but its the second one I've bought that did not match the product description. The entire shell is 600d nylon with no overlays on the elbows, there are no sublimated graphics and there is no reflective piping. It does fit and look great and I will keep it, the hood is nice if you're going to be off the bike for a while and its cooler out but I wouldn't advise using it under your helmet. Only other compaint is the Velcro take-up on the cuffs goes over the zipper, meaning you have to undo both to get the coat off. I'd rather have a take-up I adjust to my wrist once and then use the zips to open the cuffs. I'm willing to live with it tho, and despite those things its a great jacket.

This is my 2nd review of this jacket after putting a couple hundred miles on it on my 1100 shadow with no windshield during what we jokingly call 'spring' here in northeast Ohio. I've rode with this jacket in 35-40 for up to an hour at a stretch. With the liner in and a long sleeve shirt on under it its fairly warm. Not much wind gets through and with gauntlet style gloves over the cuffs your arms stay toasty. The only part of me that got cold was the patch of throat between my helmet and the jacket that would otherwise be covered by a mandarin collar...if they do a v 3.0 they should include that feature. Its a really good-looking jacket and the fit is pretty spot-on with the chart. I'm broad at the shoulders and a bit narrow at the hip and would have liked to see more adjustment available on the waist tabs, but fit is still good. The armor is more rigid than I've seen in other jackets and stays put reasonably well but take-ups in the sleeves would be a welcome feature on future versions. There is plenty of storage available in both the jacket pockets and the ones in the liner, also the liner is a cool grayscale camouflage design and looks pretty sweet. The long zipper pulls make them easy to use with gloves on and the zippers are good quality. All in all I am happy with this jacket, its worth the money for me. If Ohio ever warms up past 50 I'll see how it vents in the heat and drop another review.
