Excellent - nefty123   VA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: works well
Cons: a little hard to put together

I put quick releases on all my helmets due to medical issues. I did find that attaching the parts to the helmet required a lot of strength this time.

Echo Helmet Quick Releases - Paul Kangas   MN Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Very good price
    Cons: [None]

very easy to install and very easy to use. the best thing I have seen for the helmet. Shipping was fast and no back orders they came just like they said.

work well - rdss   TX Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Is very quick
    Cons: none

easy to put on, works well.

Excellent and easy - nefty123   VA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: easy install and helps tremendously
    Cons: small release points

This is such a simple device and immensely helpful for the handicapped and even regular rider. I don't see why they are not the standard for all helmets.

a must have for every helmet - Jerry   UT Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: easy to install
Cons: that dang extra strap length is still there

This is a must have for any helmet I own. It makes strapping and unstrapping a breeze. The only negative is that I never know what to do with the extra strap after installation, or may be I am still too lazy to just trim it. But that is why I bought these in the first place, to make life easier if only by a few minutes.

Convenient Release - VJS   TX Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: quick and convenient
    Cons: none

Not much to say except I have one on all my helmets. Much more convenient than fumbling with straps and D rings.

Echo Helmet Quick Release - wngn2009   MO Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: The clip seems to work well
    Cons: [None]

This is a good product and I would definitely purchase again and recommend to others.

helmet helper - bald e rider   WI Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: bright color
    Cons: how strong product is

seven colors to choose from, I am not sure on how strong this product is yet, will know more by the end of this riding season.

Nice - Mthead2   MT Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Easy to use.
Cons: Can connect incorrectly preventing helmet removal.

Really like the ease of putting my helmet on. Much easier that the D rings, especially wit gloves on.

Quick releases - Road Hog   GA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Easy to install and very easy to use.
    Cons: [None]

These quick releases are very easy to install and connect as well as release.

Not bad - Daily Rider   CA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Easy install, easy to use
Cons: Get in the way if you like to lock your helmet to the rear hooks

Not bad ... Saves me about minute each te I put gear on or take gear off.

echo helmet quick release - Nancy   VA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: easy to use
    Cons: [None]

This makes putting on and taking off the helmet much easier even with gloves on.

Echo Quick Release - Jurgen   NM Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: It works as advertised.
Cons: It's not a Nolan quick release And, you can't adjust it once latched, the strap binds.

This little device does what it is supposed to do. Unfortunately the parts are small and trying to get it latched and unlatched is finnicky. Don't try it with gloves on. Unfortunately Nolan probably has a patent on their system, but it is far superior in operation. And you can adjust its tightness with the helmet on. Until a better quick latch comes along, this one will have to do.

Quick Relwase - Kmasa58   OR Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Inexpensive, simple to install, good security when properly latched
Cons: Latching not very positive, need to tug on strap to ensure good latching

Inexpensive conversion that makes putting helmets onoff. Able color coordinate with your existing helmet color.

Oh the obscenities - Flaferalcat   FL Recommended by Reviewer: No
    Pros: none
Cons: ....Hard to fasten & Really ticked off the wife

My wife has trouble with D-rings, so I thought this would improve her life. WRONG After I installed it easyShe fussed with it in the living room without gloves for 10min or more....and OUCH My ears hurt She'd rather have the D-rings. I'd rather have her have the D-rings ...and while it's easy to put in, you really better have some muscle and coordination to remove it

D ring beats this.... - kenny   Recommended by Reviewer: No
    Pros: [None]
    Cons: [None]

Been riddin for years had no problems with D-ring.Should have stayed with that system. This product is a pain to use

Didn't work out for me - JAC   IL Recommended by Reviewer: No
    Pros: Cheap price
    Cons: Installation and operation

Very difficult to install if your helmet has a snap at the end of the chin strap to keep the strap from flapping around. Just not enough room to get the chin strap trough the D-Ring piece they provide. Took some serious manhandling to get the strap through there without modifying it. Once I got it all installed, I realized that this may be a quick release but it isn't a quick connect. Trying to connect the two pieces together with the helmet on is difficult and tedious. In the end I decided that it was easier just to deal with the normal helmet D-ring connection method and removed the quick release. Of course removing it was just as difficult, if not more, than putting it on.

My bad - Boomer   GA Recommended by Reviewer: No
    Pros: easy to install
Cons: hard to put on or off -- no restrain for leftover strap

I thought this would be a brain dead purchase and failed to read the reviews.. I have a plastic release on another helmet and works fine and thought this one would work the same and is metal to metal connection.. but I failed to read the reviews ... my bad. I used it one day and was very disappointed.. difficult to line up to snap together and when helmet is on and tension on the strap it is very hard to get it to release. The leftover strap just flaps in the wind and there is no good way to secure it. Get the plastic Powermadd clip... it works much better.

Quick Release - Jen K   IL Recommended by Reviewer: No
    Pros: [None]
    Cons: Very hard to use.

Very hard to snap in as it goes in crooked and gets stuck. Really hard to release. I removed it after I installed it as it was harder to use than just threading the strap. Don't buy a metal one - stick with a plastic quick release

Echo Helmet Quick Releases - Tom   NJ Recommended by Reviewer: No
    Pros: None
    Cons: Hard to use.

Threw it in the trash, wasted money.

not quick releases - Hotshoe   AL Recommended by Reviewer: No
Pros: easy to put on the strap
Cons: very very hard toclose, hard to open

These are the worst helmet accessory I have ever bought.Makes the helmet hard to take off, putting the helmet takes much longer very hard to align both parts to hook.no i would'nt recommend these to anyone
