a must have for every helmet - Jerry UT
Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: easy to install
Cons: that dang extra strap length is still there
This is a must have for any helmet I own. It makes strapping and unstrapping a breeze. The only negative is that I never know what to do with the extra strap after installation, or may be I am still too lazy to just trim it. But that is why I bought these in the first place, to make life easier if only by a few minutes.
Convenient Release - VJS TX

Pros: quick and convenient
Cons: none
Not much to say except I have one on all my helmets. Much more convenient than fumbling with straps and D rings.

Really like the ease of putting my helmet on. Much easier that the D rings, especially wit gloves on.

This makes putting on and taking off the helmet much easier even with gloves on.
Didn't work out for me - JAC IL
Recommended by Reviewer: No
Pros: Cheap price
Cons: Installation and operation
Very difficult to install if your helmet has a snap at the end of the chin strap to keep the strap from flapping around. Just not enough room to get the chin strap trough the D-Ring piece they provide. Took some serious manhandling to get the strap through there without modifying it. Once I got it all installed, I realized that this may be a quick release but it isn't a quick connect. Trying to connect the two pieces together with the helmet on is difficult and tedious. In the end I decided that it was easier just to deal with the normal helmet D-ring connection method and removed the quick release. Of course removing it was just as difficult, if not more, than putting it on.
