Stick it - 06 Honda VFR800 CA
Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Grabs the pavement, smoother ride, confidence in deep turns
Cons: None yet
If you're an upright hwy commuter, those dual compound tires are fine. But for street gripping, deep turns, smoother ride and more confidence, along with better stopping power, you need sticky tires. I had a set of those Michelin dual compound tires and experienced rear tire slide when leaning deep and lousy stopping performance. I worried when leaning in a turn. These Q2 Sportmax tires brought all the confidence back so i can focus on the ride and not worry about 2 tires giving out on me when i need them most.
Great Tires - TinyTiger CA

Pros: The tires have a lot of grip right from when you start riding.
Cons: Nothing so far.
These tires really inspire a lot of confidence even when you start off cold. I have a 2009 Buell XB9SX and have put a few hundred miles on the tires recently. You can lean into the corners knowing the tires will stick and give great feedback when you are pushing them.

Pros: long lasting, price, sticky, great for in town and back country roads
Cons: none that I've found
I'm on my third set of Q2s for my 2010 R1. Their shape is the best part it really helps you corner by putting more tire on the ground in the twistys. Really inspires confidence. The front will last about 6-7k and the back will last about 3k miles. Ive had mine up past 180mph and they handle the speed very well. Great grip in hard braking as well. Ive had them in the rain many times and of course youve gotta slow it down when its wet but they still always feel very solid and connected to the road. Ive taken them around curves and hit small gravel patches before and they are very forgiving. They always find the traction just like good tires should.

Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Grippy even on wet streets
Cons: They are expensive
Don't skimp on tires or brakes, it does not matter how fast it will go if you can't grip the road or stop on a dime These guys have the best price on Q2s trust me I researched the piss out of it and hands down they have the best price on tires by about 50.00. My tires arrived at my front door in two days Great price, fast delivery, this is the hook up on tires
Phenomenal tire - SkyDork FL
Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Sticks like glue, handles great, good price
Cons: Mileage
I've been using these tires on the street and a couple of trackdays on my ZX-10R. They are simply awesome Very confidence inspiring and can handle just about anything you can throw their way. The trade off for all that grip is the mileage. I get about 2,500 miles of hard street riding before the tire is at the wear bars and it gets replaced. Small price though for the insurance of having these between me and the pavement. Definitely a great tire
