Elite 3 - FLcruzer
Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Excellent handling characteristics and long life.
Cons: [None]
When it was time to replace the factory tires on my Honda VTX 1800C, I chose the Elite 3. The stock tires had 8400 miles on them. The front tire probably had 10 miles left on it and the rear was a little better, maybe 200 miles left. The first impression I had of the Elite 3's was that the bike handled better than when it was new, way better. The wet road performance was equally as impressive, and I felt safe with them on the bike. I put 13,500 miles on the bike after having the Elite 3's installed and they still had plenty of thread depth left when I traded the bike. I wasam amazed at the great wear and handling characteristics and will go to Elite 3's when the Metzler's on my new bike wear out in about 8000 miles. I will not gamble on trying something else.

Pros: Good traction and wear
Cons: When you lean it way over they'll make some noise
Ive ridden these coast to coast and in all kinds of weather including ice and snow and they never failed me.Taking in account my riding style is aggressive I find they wear well.

Pros: 2404018
Cons: Great the only one I buy.
This is the best tire I have ever had you can not go wrong with this one. The Dunlop Elite 3 240/40-18. I got 14,448 miles of wear on that tire before changing. I have a 2005 hayabusa I have 90,630 miles on it, you see I ride and a good long lasting tire and its the one.

This is the best tire to have on your Bike Period!
My 1992 FXRS 1340cc Low Rider has the old version of this tire called the Dunlop Elite S/T which they don't make anymore;
It was put on my bike03-21-1997!! We are talking 12 years here! Of course, I don't do any burnouts, and I did let it sit in my building for 5 yrs. which I didn't ride although I had tags and insurance on it. The tread is still good but I has dry wall cracks and it's leaking air now that I ride it hard everyday. So this is the tire I am ordering and I pray that it will last at least a good 9 years.:0......Sue Norris, N.C. My bike now has 58,000 miles on it.
