This is a great tire. I have had two of these on my FXSTB. Has 9000 miles on the current tire and plan to get another 2000-3000 at least. I had cupping with the first tire due to low air pressure. Seasons changed and I didn't check the pressure for over a month, when I did it was at 22 psi. Have kept the current tire at 39 psi and no cupping. Feels great in the turns both wet and dry, I use every bit of that 200mm.

I pull a trailer behind my Ultra when I travel, and the American Elite is the most stable tire I have ever had. The tires don't road walk on grooved pavement and I have not seen the flattening in the center of the tire that I did with the stock D407 tires. The aggressive tread design sheds water well preventing hydroplaning. I expect to get over 12000 miles on these tires, even with a trailer. Much better than the 8000 miles I got on the stock tires. I am an American Elite customer for life.
