Late model BMW motorcycles with single-sided swingarms use an array of T50 Torx bolts to fasten the rear wheel. Access may be difficult due to a recessed wheel, obstructing mufflers, and saddlebags. In addition, a relatively high torque specification of 60 n-m (44 foot-pounds) is required. As a result, removal and replacement of the rear wheel on the road or trail is a challenge. This T50 Star Wrench was designed specifically for this application, providing a compact and high strength solution. Measuring approximately 7.5" (190mm) by 4" (100mm), the CruzTOOLS T50 Star Wrench allows necessary access and leverage to loosen and tighten these high-torque fasteners, yet easily fit into a tank bag or saddle bag. T50 start tips are provided on both ends, so the long side can be used for leverage and short side to quickly thread the fastener in or out. The wrench is manufactured to precision tolerances and heat treated using S2 material, with an attractive satin finish.
