The Cortech Super 2.0 Saddlebags have been constructed with 1680 Denier ballistic polyester and 1800 denier three lined twill Jacquard weave side pockets with polyester backing. There is a protective heat shield on the lower section of the bags and back piping. To protect the finish on your bike when mounting the bags, there is a protective, non-slip, non-scratch, diamond pattern strap and side pads. The 'quick-release' mounting system connects to the Cortech Super 2.0 Tail Bag. The interior of the saddlebags have a soft, two-tone (red and black) lining. For additional storage, there are zippered side pockets on each bag. To maintain the structure of the bags, there are internal support panels. Phosolite piping increases visibility, and the main compartment is expandable, giving you plenty of room for your belongings. Removable rain cover included.

Good bags, good storage - Robert Shaw

Pros: Good amounts of storage, sleek in appearance
Cons: little pricey compared to the last ones
Overall I really like them. I ordered the matching tailbag too. Once you get them on and adjusted it is really simple to take them off and put them back on.

Pros: Farily easy to install, holds good amount of stuff, expandable, lightly water resistant with out rain covers, looks good
Cons: Still rubs paint even with anti-rub pads
I have had these bags now for a little over a month and use them on a daily basis. So far I am really liking them. They hold plenty of gear for my daily commute. In one non-expanded bag I fit my entire rain suit pants, jacket, gloves, boot covers and in the other I can fit what ever else I need to take that day. Like a full set of gym clothes shoes, clothes, water bottles etc or cold weather clothes. The ability to expand the bags has also come in handy a number of times. Expanded I was able to even bring home left overs without problems. They are pretty easy to install if you take a minute to think it out before you jump into it. On my Yamaha FZ8 they don't sit straight up and down because the back of the bike is so angled, they angle in a bit so they look a bit funky but still function just fine. Also the bags will keep what is inside them dry in light rain. On a couple of occasions I have not put the rain covers on when I went to work only to find out hours later that it rained and opened the bags to find everything inside still dry. I wouldn't suggest leaving them out in a heavy downpour or anything but again light rain you might by ok. My biggest grip is they have anti-rub or scuff pads on the insides of them that are supposed to protect your painted surfaces...yea they don't do a damn thing. I have noticed that when I take them off from time to time there are small scuff marks in my paint, and they don't appear to buff out, so it looks like they are scratches. This kinda pisses me off since my bike looked brand new prior to these bags. I can't really complain about the fit on my bike since that isn't really the bag's fault since my bike isn't flat at the back at all. They still hold everything I need and stay put just fine.
