These pants are exactly what I needed. I bought a bit larger than normal because I wear armored shorts underneath. The knee/shin pads are very dense and provide good coverage. Since leather is much more abrasion resistant than mesh, I'm happy with the coverage including the seat. However, there's plenty of mesh for excellent airflow in hot weather. The windproof, thermal liner is probably sufficient to make these my four-season pants. Adjustable waist and the front buckle can be released with one hand. Highly recommended.
