Conti Motion - Mike K   NC Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Low cost very good tire
    Cons: None

This is the second time I have purchased a Conti Motion tire. The first time was for my cross country trip last year. I wanted to try the Motion because of its price point. As a daily year round rider I go through alot of tires. I would typically use Conti's Road Attacks and have used them for years. I prefer their feel and predictability. On my cross country trip the Motions were subjected to several different surfaces from rural road, highway, dirt road and some minor off road. I was happy to see that the Motion held up just fine and I beleive are comparible to the Road Attack without the higher price. The wear was on par with what I was getting from the Attack as well. I replaced them in Seattle before there time only because I had alot of miles to cover heading East and would have needed to change them somewhere through that section. I did not want to take chances with a worn out tire in the middle of nowhere ND. I consider myself a moderatly agressive rider and subject my tires to various conditions. I am confident in recommending these tires to any typical street rider.

awesome - smooverider   IN Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: the design looks good an it helps u turn better an u can feel the traction and cheap
    Cons: none

These tires are awesome i have never got as low as i do in turns with any other tires like i have with these they are really great they have given me a different riding experince it may just be a tire but man it did such a big impact on how i ride thanks compacc.com P.s. they were cheap too

great tires - ifgshooter   CA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: good grip, great price, excellent wear.
    Cons: none

Bought these to replace a set of Bridgestones. These skins grip just as good, but don't have the center wear from freeway riding like the Bridgestones. They heat up fast a grip the pavement great. I'll definately get another set if I ever wear these out.

very happy - AtticaTiger   NY Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: great traction in wet or dry, can't beat price
    Cons: none

I was running Michelin Pilot Road 2's but decided to try these Contis on my Tiger 1050. I am impressed. I 've put a few miles on them in a five state tour.

incredible value - tomv   FL Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: price, very neutral handling
Cons: none for the average rider

these tires perform very well. neutral feeling with no quirks in handling. great grip wet or dry. not a track day tire but for the average rider they will perform very well. it appears the wear will be good and even judging by the first 1000 miles. i am very happy with this selection.

Conti Motions - Mike K   NC Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
    Pros: Good grip and wear
    Cons: None at this time

I have been using Continental tires on my bikes for many years. In the past 6 years I used the previous generation Road Attacks and the new RA2's. Because I go through several sets of tires per year and it gets pretty costly, I wanted to see how the Motions held up compared to the Road Attacks. At this point I have several thousand miles on this set of Motions and I am very happy with them. They have worn very well and I can not feel any difference in traction from the Road Attacks. I would say these are the best bang for the buck for me and will certainly get another set when needed.

    Im Impressed!!!
Bought a set for my 05 zzr1200 and wasn't sure what to expect. I ride in western NY and put 15k on a year, and really abuse this zzr and tires. Since going through so many tires, I figured why not try em out! Anyway here we are and I killed the rear down to the cord at 6600mi.!!!! The front looks and feels new with no irregularities and am going to use with the next new Motion rear! The rear tire wore true and even, all the way to the edge, like I said, Impressed, cause I use this zzr. Rear tire went about 5200k until the wear bar. Traction was good but a little lose when goosed from the light making a turn with heavy throttle, but VERY predictable, feedback was also very good. Anyway, for money, you cant beet em, the ZZR is heavy and powerful, so it was a good test. I am a three season rider and rain doesn't stop me, and again the tire performed good in the rain, good traction and very predictable, never did it give me a reason to hesitate. BTW this is the first time I have put a less expensive set of tires on this bike, owned since new and now has 51k on it, so I've tried a lot of tires. Don't know if it matters but the rear is made in Germany and the front is made in Korea! I Know, but they work

Nice overall tires - Stuck In Low Gear   CA Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: Great price, wearing well, quiet, not a harsh ride
    Cons: Not always on sale

Being a novice to intermediate rider, I don't ride very fast, these tires are wearing well, quiet, and riding two up they don't squirm or feel iffy when going through turns. They track nicely over rain grooves and reasonably grippy in the wet. Again, I ride a bit more cautious so I can't vouch for high speed nor track days.Seems to me to be a pretty good street tire.

conti motion sport touting radials - kawasaki barney   NM Recommended by Reviewer: Yes
Pros: great price and shipped really fast. Really happy with ride so far, but no rain riding
    Cons: [None]

I needed a set of tires on my sprint st these were a great deal. i mounted them and got them scrubbed off on my first trip of the season and was really happy with the ride and stability. I felt planted. I had pirelli diablos on before and i think im going to like these contis.

sport tour tires - rscott   IL Recommended by Reviewer: Yes

CRAPPY - 2011 hyosung gt650r   Recommended by Reviewer: No
    Pros: none
    Cons: total rip off

only had tire for a month with right at about 1000 miles on it and the freaking wire is showing all the way around the tire.....NEVER AGAIN in my lifetime will i purchase another continental motion better yet any continental brand tire.......i had shinko 005 180 on my bike i got 4000 miles out that tire before the wire started showing..SHINKO SHINKO SHINKO...............TRIAL & ERROR I GUESS

    Perko
The best thing about these tires is the price. I was not impressed with the overall performance at all. I had little confidence in the handling and the wet grip was sub-par. I have C14, maintain the tire pressures, don't do burn outs but like to wheelie and the rear flat spotted bad here in HeILLINOSIS at 3,400 miles and was at the center cord at less than 3,900 miles with only 500 of those miles 2 up. Just as a comparison on the same bike same riding style Pilot Road 2's two sets have averaged 10,000 miles and that was not worn to the point you could see the cord. The PR2's handle MUCH better in every way especially in the wet.
The front tire may have had 1/2 life remaining but I would only use it in a emergency now. I switched back PR2's last night and my lil' Connie and I are back in love.
