Details from Cobra on Approximate Sizing:
Height: It is measured by putting the bar on a table and measuring from the table to the top of the bar. The pads will stick up a little more than the top of the bar. Then you need to subtract the approximate thickness of the rear passenger seat ( about 6 inches ) So a 12 inch height is about 6-8 inches above the top of the passenger seat.
