Pros: Sound quality, battery life, ease of pairing devices
Cons: Remembering the different button combinations for various functions, speakers press on my ears
I purchased a single Q3, not the multiset, to use on a recent trip. My friend I was riding with already had a Q2. After pairing for the first time, they subsequently paired quickly, even though we each were also pairing with our phones and he with his GPS. After stopping for a break or for overnight, we'd just make sure they were on, get our helmets close and they'd automatically be ready to go.I can't imagine riding without it now. On our trip we were constantly chatting about interesting things, planning our next stop or pointing out traffic or other hazards. We did lose contact a couple of times, once when I got stopped by a red light. He knew it and rode on ahead to pull over at a safe place, which was over the top of a hill. Once I got within range, we were talking again.I don't listen to music with it much, but I can easily use iTunes on my phone or the built in radio when I want to. And it's great for phone calls. I don't place calls while riding, except once to test it out. When a call does come in I can answer and talk easily. People on the other end can hear me fine. It's taken me several tries to get used to the button combinations and functions, but I think I have the hang of it. And if you use the same devices all the time, they'll pair up automatically. The Q3 will connect to your computer for firmware upgrades and changing settings. I'm very happy with this device.
