The safest way to ride it with a full leather suit, but for me this is just a little too much. I would much rather use Sliders® pants with Kevlar abrasion protection and a pair of armored pants for impact resistance. The combination of the 2 is much less bulky and provides significant protection. Plus, I can comfortably walk into a restaurant or bar and not look out of place.

Combine these with Sliders Jeans or Pants and get the benefits of Kevlar Abrasion resistance and the Armor's impact resistance.

Bohn Armored Pants are breathable lycra long johns with comfortable armor in the vulnerable areas:

Knee-Shin (this is usually the first area that hits in a fall)

Hips (an impact on the hip bone can be really painful)

just got to test these a few days ago and I'm very please they are a great match with the Sliders Kevlar jeans. I ordered XL I'm short & heavy 3638 pants but I'm thinking of getting a Large so they are a bit tighter fit will be calling customer service for advice. Hope to never find out how well they really work

Just to know that I have a full protection while riding gives me and my wife peace of mind. This is a MUST to have while riding. It would have been a 5 star but a star deduction because it's difficult for me when I need to go in a hurry. Otherwise, it's a great product and made here in USA.
