No complaints here, 12 years on a bike and decided to finally wise up and get a brain bucket. These are the first DOT helmets I didn't think I looked like I had a watermelon on my dome. Yes I'm vain, so bite me. Bought this for pure styling and it hasn't disappointed, will probably buy another from C.A. as they had the lowest price anywhere on the net. Buy with confidence, they won't disappoint

I have owned the same helmet for 15 years and decided to update. Saw this helmet being worn by a reviewer in a cycle mag and thought it looked cool. Did some research and took the plunge, glad I did. Helmet looks and feels great. Measured my head and the the charts said to get a size larger than usual. Glad I measured, it fits perfect. Inner lining makes it look more expensive than it is, and the strip of chrome is just cool. Comp. Acc. had the best price I could find and delivery was quick and painless. Already had compliments on the helmet and I am very pleased with the performance. No brainer for the price. I'm even thinking about buying a second one and I'll be set for the next 30 years

I have had the same half helmet for some 15 years and decided it was time to upgrade. Saw this helmet in a magazine being worn by one of the testers and thought it looked pretty cool. Did some research and decided to take the plunge, and I'm glad I did. The helmet looks great except the pinstripes on mine look a little off center. No big woop to me. Only been able to take two rides with it so far and have found it to be comfortable, quiet, and warm. Writing from CT in April. Definitely measure your head, I did and the Bell website said I should buy a XXL. I usually take an XL. It fits perfectly. The liner stitching is a really nice touch making the helmet look more expensive than it is. And the chrome strip is simply retro coolness. My research came up as Comp Acc. having the best price. I recommend this helmet, I've enjoyed it so far.

Bought this helmet on a heck of a sale with CompAcc. Great price as usual, and really fast shipping. Helmet fits true to size for me. Normally wear a large, bought a large...good to go. Remember if you wear one of these helmets and the fit is too loose, its gonna pull off the back of your head when your goin down the highway. It is supposed to fit snug around the face area to keep unwanted air out, and that is what it does. Looks kick ass, has killer Skratch pinstriping and keeps the wind noise out of your ears....all that and DOT to boot Don't be lame and wear those cheap ass novelty helmets....what's the point Protect your melon for real without looking like a tool

I have been looking for a retro style helmet that doesn't make me look like an alien. This helmet almost fits the bill, but it is a little large on my head. I guess that DOT is going to cause that. Delivery was really quick, ordered on a Thur. evening and received it on Sat. Of course, I'm only one state away so travel time was low. I was on the fence about getting a large or XL, since I fell on the border in the size chart. I went with an XL since I usually wear a do rag. Fit is fine, if you are on the fence about size, I would go to the larger end.Only real complaint I have is that the inner lining has bulges and doesn't lay flat I'm hoping that improves with use.

I ordered one a week ago and it arrived wednesday. I have used it quite a bit already and really love it. The bell 500 has a nice thin liner and a really soft interior. I really have not seen anything like it for the money. It is very light and really reminds me of the helmets you see in the mags from the 70s that really had no protection. I think these are a home run.
