Alpinestar SP2 gloves work - Dan Dolan

If you have a smallish hand, the SP2 will fit you like, well, a glove Very comfortable and require no break-in.And they work Crashed tested by me - twiceI've high sided on the track twice in SP2 without incident to my hands - although the knuckle knobs were dented and badly scraped.After the second incident, a small tear appeared in one of the finger seams, which seems reasonable due to the force. And it did not riptear through. However, I am replacing my gloves with another set of SP2s.If they fit, they're an excellent value

They look fantastic and i did 4hrs of riding today in 35C heat and they were more then comfortable. i would recommend these gloves for anyone who does a few track days but mostly sticks to the mountains and forest roads.Great glove. i haven't crash tested them yet and i hope never to do so, but i would prefer to buy a quality item and never need it then to buy a cheap glove and it cost me my career.

Gloves are comfortable right away. A lot of great features for the money. Very happy with this purchase. The only minor issue is that the gauntlet cuff is a little tight to get over my jacket sleeves.

All in all, a great glove, with enough color options to match most riding gear.I've been riding with these for a couple weeks now, and love them. They're not the most well-vented gloves, but flow enough air to keep you cool as long as traffic's moving along. The protection is great - lots of carbon fiber atop good foam padding.
