Sizing was perfect bounced my EU size off an old pair of sneakers and went a size down because they were a little bigGreat comfort and easily broke in within a few rides. I was very hesitant about ordering online....not anymore, not from Compacc.Airflow through the elastic accordion area is much appreciated in the warm Hawaiian afternoons. The Major factors for me deciding to purchase were over ankle protection, comfortable, easy on and off and looks. Definitely a decent boot for the price and I'm glad I made the jump from a standard work boot to a dedicated motorcycle boot.

Been riding in these boots for a few weeks and i love everything. When stopped at lights or in traffic the traction on the sole grips good and way better than my other shoes. The A-Star smx 1 boots are a great option for the street rider and they also look great while riding or paired with jeans The very 1st thing I noticed was how much airflow comes through the front. I bought these in April 2012. I have rode with them only 2 times so far. They have very good comfort for riding, easy to access rear brake, downshifting, upshifting. They have good tread on the soles, so if you come to a stop signlight you won't slide when coming to a stop. All around a great Motorcycle riding boot. They have no boot laces. I prefer that they do not. There is 1 zipper and 2 velcro parts as the pictures show..

These boots arew what I was looking for. Easier to get on that my full length boots but very confortable on the bike and still offer great ankle protection. I like the style and the fastening system and notice when I put my foot down at the lights, the grip of the sole feels solid. I've only used them a few times but I am more than happy with my purchase so far.

I am very upset with this product. I bought them and less then a month the plastic on top of the boot, started to break a part. I have a racing pipe, underneath my boot and I stop to put the foot down the heat from the pipe, on a hot day the air that is to say melted the plastic on top of the boot. Don't buy these boots if your bike get's hot.
