AXO Striker Boot ReviewIf you are looking for a short street boot that is quick and easy to put on, stays secure on your foot, offers decent crash protection and is all day comfortable, look no further than the
AXO Striker. Not much bigger than a high-top basketball shoe, these all black boots could easily blend in just about anywhere. My absolute favorite thing about the Striker boots is definitely the Boa lacing system. The Boa laces are actually thin coated steel cables that run through special plastic guides on the boots. A knob at the back of the boots has a ratcheting system which makes it quick and easy to evenly tighten the laces. With the Boa system there are no loose ends to tuck in or get caught on your bike. Simply slip your foot in, give the knob a couple turns and off you go! To release the laces simply pull out on the knob and it instantly releases. The toe area of the Striker boots is coated in rubber, which not only makes them more durable and comfortable for shifting, but also makes it easy to keep your boots clean. The sides of the striker boots are perforated for some warm weather ventilation, with exhaust vents at the heel as well to keep your feet cool. The

The outer of the Striker is made with a combination of PU coated synthetics for durability, perforated and solid material panels and molded rubber allowing unique fit and support exactly where you need it
The center BOA lace guides are self centering and low in friction
Pressure molded suede leather is placed over the ankle and back of the boot to offer support and reduce wear and tear
The BOA dial is surrounded and mounted to a 3D molded heel cap
You’ll appreciate the sculpted top of the boot if you need to walk in or spend the day in the Striker
Soft padding, rolled edges and internal seams all add to the comfort of the Striker
The rubber toe cap allows dirt and frontal debris to simply wipe off
The injection molded sole and EVA heel insert reduce road vibration and reduce foot fatigue
A washable and removable foot bed is inserted inside the boot
