AXO Slammer Constructor Boots ReviewIf you were to take a work boot, an off-road boot, and a street boot and combine all three, I think you would get something very close to the
AXO Slammer Constructor Boots. With a lugged gum rubber sole, the Slammer Constructor is at home on the street or off road. These boots are held on with two straps, one across the instep and another around the ankle. There are motocross style buckles that securely snap into place, with some small levers on the ends that give you a mechanical advantage when unbuckling them (a nice touch). Some other dirt inspired features are the metal toe guards that protect the sole, and a molded ridge in front of the lower buckle which prevents the buckle from being caught on brush (or anything else). With all of these dirt boot features you may be wondering if these are at all practical for street use, and I can definitely say they are great. The Nubuk hide leather is nice and soft to the touch, and the gum rubber sole is soft and flexible for all day comfort on or off the bike.

The AXO Slammer Constructor Boots are Comfortable, long wearing, weather resistant and at home on or off the bike or quad, the new Constructor Slammer is sure to be your new best friend. Following the standards of high end work and hiking boots, soft and supple Nubuk™ Suede leather is used for the entire outer construction. Using a stitch break design, the synthetic instep cover flap is padded and sized to accommodate a wide range of arch and width sizes. Placed over the lateral side, a “V” cut flex panel allows the boot to flex while walking. Using a pressure molded synthetic shin plate with a wide Velcro secondary closure the top of the boot can be secured to the foot reducing the chance of debris from entering. 2 Aluminum Power Lever Locking buckles securely close the boot on the foot and are completely adjustable and replaceable if needed
A PU molded buckle deflector is placed near the lower first buckle guarding it from brush and debris that may come into contact with the boot
A traditionally constructed welted natural gum rubber lugged sole is matted to the boot
Featuring a steel toe cap to guard the top of the toe area
A second layer of Nubuk™ Suede leather is layered over the medial side of the boot and wraps up and over the toe box acting as a shifter guard as well
The interior of the boot is constructed with mesh and foams to pad and wrap your foot in comfort
A removable foot bed liner can be washed or replaced if needed
