This is a great dual sport helmet for someone who doesn't want the spend far more for similar models from Arai and Shoei. The quality is quite nice for the price. It is also set up to take goggles and the visor is removable to allow the helemt to be worn at higher highway speeds. I bought this because my present shield less dirt helmet was simply too wide open to wear in cold weather, The shield on this makes it far more comfortable when the temperature drops dramatically . The face shield ion this makes it a true four season helmet.It flows far more air in hot weather than a regular full face helmet and as a result is far more comfortable to wear when the weather gets in the nineties. My Bluetooth communicator fits far better into this than it does my Nolan street helmet.
AFX HelmetsDetermine the circumference of the widest part of your head by using a flexible tape measure. Generally, the widest part of a person's head is the area 2.5cm (1") above the eyes and ears. However, we suggest measuring at a few points both above and below that line to determine the greatest measurement before referring to our size tables. We also suggest testing the fit of a helmet one size smaller and one size larger then what the chart recommends. No helmet can provide protection if it's too uncomfortable to wear.
